“I’m Jessica, the marketing and promotions director and social media coordinator for Roman Candy Rum. I met y’all only briefly when you were at our house (and I believe I was in my PJ’s).
I just have to share with you guys that the response to our video has been positively outstanding. It has been viewed over 6,000 times in four days and each person’s feedback is better than the last. Not one dry eye was present when we debuted it to family, and it is a hit in Las Vegas at the WFWA convention where Roman Candy Rum is being represented right now.
Your work on this project could not have brought more dignity and respect to our beloved product. We are so proud of our candy and our rum, but this short yet soulful documentary has allowed even more people – friends, community members, and even strangers from afar – a glimpse into how important Roman Candy is not only to the city, but to ourselves. Each time I watch it, it brings tears to my eyes. The feels. All the feels.

With Roman Candy Rum, we had the pleasure of working with the iconic New Orleans brand, Roman Candy, in introducing its newest anniversary product. It is really amazing to work with new people, new products, and to tell a story that’s never been told with video. I was most impressed with the quality of their brand and the beauty of their family and history. If you watched the video you can see exactly what I’m talking about. It was an amazing project for us in so many ways, we loved the product, shooting in New Orleans, and shooting with the RED EPIC camera.
